Made by Ryotaro Kato, 8th generation of Kobei Kiln. Nezumi-Shino sake cup, fired in an anagama kiln. The feldspar glaze background is grayish-white, with naturally oozing iron deposits, creating deep brown speckles and crimson fire marks at random. The form is cylindrical, with a slightly undulating rim, providing a rustic feel when held. Each piece is unique due to the firing process and cannot be replicated.
